What we collect
If you send a request for help, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, what you are noticing, whether you own the property or are authorized to decide, when you would like someone to look at it, and your preferred contact method. You may also give a city, street address, a description, and the type and approximate age of your home. We also record which page you started from, how you arrived (referring site and any campaign tags in the link), and which version of the notice on the form you saw.
If you write to the publisher, we collect your name, email address, the topic, and your message.
How we use it
NOLA Raised Home receives every request for help first and keeps a record of it, which lets us review it, count requests, see which page a visitor came from, and answer questions about it. If a request looks like a fit it is shared with one independent local provider so that provider can contact you by the method you chose. A message to the publisher is used to reply to you and to correct the site. We do not use either to send you unrelated marketing.
Who receives it
A request that looks like a fit goes to one independent local provider. A request that does not look like a fit is not sent to any provider. We do not send a request to several competing providers, and we do not automatically pass it to a different provider if the first one cannot help. That provider handles your information under its own practices after it receives it, so ask it about them. Messages to the publisher are never shared with a provider.
The tools we use to host this site and carry your request to its destination process the information on our behalf. They do not contact you. See how the referral works.
Calls and text messages
This site does not place calls or send text messages itself. If you choose phone or text as your preferred contact method, that is a preference passed along with your request. How the provider contacts you is up to the provider.
Analytics and cookies
This site does not currently load an analytics tool. If one is added, this page will be updated to name it and say what it records.
Your choices
To see, correct, or delete what you sent us, use the publisher contact form and choose “Privacy request”. We will delete our record of your request on request. If it was already shared with a provider we will tell you which one, so you can ask that provider about its own copy.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect submitted information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We will update this page, and its date, if we materially change these practices.
